Description
Mount Misery is considered one of the epicenters of the supernatural on Long Island. From ghost stories, to UFOs, Men in Black and even the Mothman, it’s host to legends befitting a location considered haunted from the days of the native Americans.
In my time on Long Island, I’d always take off the day of Halloween and explore. My favorite spot to end up at sunset was Mt. Misery. One thing you have to say about Long Island, is they keep their trees. So from the advantage of one of the highest places on the island, you can forget for a moment the sea of humanity living and dying beneath that ocean of trees.
