Tansy is a versatile, and beautiful addition to the witch’s garden, with both dark and light uses. It also goes nicely in a stew. 

Prints ship within one week, framed prints usually between 1-2 weeks. Contact me for rush orders and I’ll see what can be done. When ordering the print only, it ships as size noted in shopping cart. Framed image is larger and cropped slightly to fit the frame.  Beware: This is a very dark image, for those who like it that way. So expect it to print a bit dark. May I suggest a black frame?

Tansy is a workhorse of the witch’s garden, a perennial grown as an aid for everything from embalming to stew. In the sixteenth century Britain is was considered a necessity for gardens, due to its versatility.

It’s also quite beautiful when in bloom, and very easy to grow. You need a splash of yellow in your life. It’s the sun, made incarnate in tiny little buds.
